How do I register for the congress?
Online registration is now open. Please navigate to the registration tab to see the registration fees and conditions. There you will find a "Register now online" button.
If you already have an account from previous congresses, please log in with your existing credentials. Otherwise, please create a new account.
How much is the registration fee?
Fees depend on your country category according to the World Bank income classification and on your member status. A full overview of categories and fees is available on the registration page.
Can I register more than one person?
No, each participant must register individually, as the registration is linked to a personal account. You will need your own email address to register, as it will be used to contact you, bookmark sessions, or submit abstracts. Registration on behalf of another person is not permitted.

Can I register for only one day?
No, day passes are not available.
Is there a discount option?
Yes. Reduced fees are available for IACAPAP members and depending on the income category of your country.
Additional discounts are available for undergraduate students, post-graduate students, Master‘s Students, and fellows.

What is included in the registration fee?
Registration fee for the participants includes:
- Admission to all scientific sessions
- Admission to poster and technical exhibition
- Final programme (PDF version) and Congress App
- Admission to the Opening Ceremony and Networking Reception
- Morning coffee breaks
Where do I find the cancellation policy?
The cancellation and refund policy is published in detail on the registration page. Please check the conditions carefully before registering.
2. Abstracts, Programme, Exhibition
I am a speaker – how, when and where do I upload my slides?
Speakers will be invited to upload their slides prior to the congress. Uploading them online is the easiest way to submit your slides.
If you are not able to upload your slides online prior to the congress, you can upload them at the Speakers’ Center at the latest three hours prior to the presentation. The Speakers’ Center is located in Foyer 3 on the Ground Floor of the CCH.
Where should I hang and present my poster?
Poster Sessions will be held from Wednesday, 1 July to Saturday, 4 July 2026 in the Poster Exhibition of the CCH. Poster Sessions will be guided by well-regarded experts who will act as chairpersons. Each poster presenter will have 7 minutes for their presentation, followed by 3 minutes for discussion and questions. The three best posters will be awarded during the Closing Ceremony on 4 July 2026.

When should I take my poster up and down?
Set-up times for posters:

P-44 – P-64 | Saturday, 4 July 2026 08:00 – 10:00
Dismantling times for posters:

Posters which have not been removed within the indicated time schedule will be removed. The entire poster can have a maximum size of 147 cm high x 97 cm wide (portrait style). The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area. Poster authors are requested to use the adhesive material provided by the congress staff only.
Will the congress be CME accredited?
IACAPAP has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20,5 CME credits (ECMEC®s). Further, the Landesärztekammer Hamburg has approved the congress with 21 credit points for the congress days. Each workshop is accredited with 5 CME credits.

Are there any industry sessions planned during the congress?

Do I need to pay an additional fee to visit the Industry Exhibition?
No, the Industry Exhibition can be visited free of charge for paid delegates. Make sure not to miss the Networking Reception on 1 July 2026!
What are the opening hours of the Technical Exhibition and where will it be?

The 27th World Congress of IACAPAP 2026 will be accompanied by a technical exhibition taking place in Foyer 4 and Foyer 3 on the Ground Floor of the CCH from 1 – 3 July 2026.

What is the address of the congress venue?
The CCH - Congress Center Hamburg is a congress center of the highest international standard and one of the largest congress centers in Europe.

Is there a virtual or hybrid option?
No. This year's congress is an on-site event and won't be live streamed nor recorded. If you can't attend this year's congress, we hope to welcome you back at IACAPAP 2028 in Auckland, New Zealand!
Is a public transport ticket included in the congress registration fee?
Will there be catering during the congress?
No. Coffee and tea are served during the morning coffee break, free of charge, to all registered participants in the exhibition area.
Refreshments and snacks can be bought at the catering outlets on the Ground Floor in Foyer 4 in the exhibition area.
Do you offer free WiFi at the venue?
Free Wi-Fi is available at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg.

What are the opening hours of the congress registration counter?
All congress materials will be available at the registration counter located in the Entrance Foyer of the CCH on the right side. Self-service terminals for badge printing will also be available.

4. General Information & Contact
Why should I attend the congress?
To say it in the words of Tobias Banaschewski (Congress President) and Luis Augusto Rohde (President IACAPAP): "The central theme of the meeting is extremely relevant since we need to discuss evidence-based interventions in CAMH that can be quickly translated to services in the context of implementation science."
What language will the congress be held in?
The official congress language is English. There will be no translation software or translator on-site.
Is there a cloakroom or a lost and found?
CLOAKROOM
A cloakroom is available in Foyer 3 on the Ground Floor. The service is subject to a fee (€ 3,50 for wardrobe and € 5,50 for luggage) and can be paid in cash or with credit card.
LOST AND FOUND
A lost and found service is available at the registration counter of the congress on the Ground Floor.
I have an accessibility requirement – who can I contact?
It is very important to us that our congress is accessible to all. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us as far in advance of the congress as possible so that necessary arrangements can be made. Rest assured, the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg is a convention center without barriers.
