27th IACAPAP Congress 2026 | 1- 4 July 2026 | CCH Hamburg

Best Poster & Best Oral Presentation Awards

The IACAPAP 2026 Best Oral Presentation Awards and Best Poster Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the scientific programme. Of all eligible submissions, three best Poster and three best Oral Presentation will be selected and rewarded.

How the Evaluation Works

The final score is based on three components:

  • Reviewing score: All abstracts have undergone the formal reviewing process. The score achieved is part of the overall evaluation.
  • Session winner selection (Chairperson score): For each session, the Chairperson selects one session winner and assigns a score from 1 to 5. Only session winners remain eligible for the Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Awards.
  • Popular vote by congress participants through the congress app: Participants can rate posters and oral presentations on a 1–5 scale in the congress app. Each abstract can only be rated once and at least 5 scores are necessary for the popular vote to count toward the overall rating.

How Winners are Determined

The three scores are weighed equally and averaged into a single final score. If a session-winning abstract receives fewer than five participant votes, the participant vote score is excluded and the final score is calculated as the average of the other two components. The three highest-ranked, session-winning posters and the three highest-ranked, session-winning oral presentations will receive the Best Oral Presentation & Best Poster Awards. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final selection.
